New Database: Films on Demand: Master Academic Collection (adds new collections in Business, Economics, Science, and Medicine)

The Library has upgraded its Films on Demand subscription to the Master Academic Collection, which adds over 3,000 full-length online films with separately viewable segments in business, economics, science, and mathematics to the existing collections in the humanities, social sciences, health, and medicine.  Films on Demand  is an online service that provides educational films in streaming video format.

Searching and viewing videos from Films on Demand does not require creating an account.  However, by creating an account, users can create folders with playlists, share video segments by e-mail, or post video segments to online course management programs like Blackboard.  The Master Academic Collection can be accessed by selecting Films on Demand from the Library’s Online Library page at
